Since the company's inception, about 20 vessels have been managed ranging in size from about 10,000 MT general cargo ships to 210,000 MT Bulk Carrriers. In the early days, the company was involved in the pre-purchase inspection and management of second hand vessels but since the 70s the company has been involved from the stage of contracting newbuild ships at major shipyards until their eventual sale or demolishion. Many of the ships were under management for well over 20 years.
The Company presently operates a fleet of two Capesize and four Newcastlemax bulk carriers. The Company’s two Capesize vessels are under long-term charter to a blue-chip international company and the Company’s four ‘Newcastlemax’ bulk carriers have been committed on long-term charters to a major European client.
The total deadweight of the company's managed vessels on the water is about 1.2 million tonnes with an average age of 5 years.
