Golden Sun Naxos - Golden Sun Naxos

Friends and I Ianded on Naxos in August looking for a place to stay with life (young women preferably), in or close to town and at least one beach. The owner of Golden Sun struck up conversation with us at the port and lied to us in order for us to book with her. We only stayed a single night. We were insulted; there were not only no young women at the hotel/resort, but only 1 other older couple staying in this massive resort. It was far from the main town, far from any beaches and transport was sparse. To top if off, the lights on the entire compound closed at 10pm!!! Outrageous. The owner, a woman in her 50s, was desperate for patronage and burnt her bridge with me and everyone I tell that goes to Naxos. The land is her fathers as the cherry on the cake. I know this because I spoke to him that one evening (there was no one else to talk to). I will give the resort its due though. The apartment/rooms were very nice and modern. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Its a small consolation though. The resort is far from EVERYTHING and depressingly isolated

This was quite a weird experience. The accomodations are very good. The pool is great, the rooms are very beautiful. If you just stay and do nothing else in the hotel probably this is the right place. I need to say that the receptionist was very helpful and kind. But .. she was the only person that actually provided quality service. That was my worst experience regarding service. The breakfast was also awful, the replies were ridiculous and the excuses were most like ironic replies. That is a pass for me. Location is so and so...

Where do i start about this hotel? Its the best all over Naxos! The fact that it oversees Agios Prokopios beach from one side and Portara from Naxos on the other? The surroundings which are beautifully designed? The huge pool with comfy sunbeds and couches? The rooms which are decorated island like and modern and the room amenities and facilities which are designed so they can serve all your needs. The view from the rooms and the terrace furniture also very comfy and beautiful. The pool and the private pools were cleaned every day something you don't see everywhere. The staff was there to help with everything we needed ,kind and friendly . Special thanks to mrs Alexandra from the reception who helped us and made our stay the most pleasant ,she is so kind helping and friendly! A hotel not to be forgotten ever!

Τοποθεσια Μειναμε 6 νυχτες, τις 3 πρωτες απο αυτες ειχε δυο δεξιωσεις γάμων. Πληρωσαμε να ξεκουραστουμε και κουραστηκαμε περισσοτερο! Δεν κλεισαμε ματι απο τη φασαρια, τα πυροτεχνηματα και τα βαρελωτα ολη τη νυχτα! Ακομα και για τις κουνιες που τριζουν πρεπει ο πελατης να τους πει να τις λαδωσουν! Τα στρωματα στα κρεβατια χαλια. Να ψαχνεις μαχαιροπηρουνα στο πρωινο, δεν αναπληρωναν το πρωινο, αυγα τη μια μερα ξεχασαν να παραγγειλουν γιατι ειχαν προτεραιοτητα τον γαμο! Απαραδεκτη κατασταση!!

An excellent hotel next to the famous wonderful beaches with a great and kind staff that was always available and ready to help. A special mention to Alexandra who was always smiling gentle and helped us so much. We will come back for sure next year. Ευχαριστούμε. Αργύρης Ειρήνη

The rooms were huge, beautiful and very clean. The hotel itself looks beautiful as well and has alot of flowers and plants. There's a pool as well. The restaurant is quite decent and not expensive. Definitely worth eating here. They also offer car rentals which given the location of the hotel is convenient. Plenty of parking space so you won't have to worry about that.

This hotel is the most amazing value for money. We booked the ‘honey moon suite’ for approx €60 a night (may), the room was huge & had a terrace with jacuzzi and sea view! The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, lovely pool & the staff are so so friendly. The kind reception lady arranged our quad hire as soon as we arrived which was super helpful. The girl working behind the bar/room service was amazing & couldn’t have worked harder to make sure we had a pleasant stay. They also offer pick up/drop off from the port but make sure to arrange a day in advance as we missed this. Thank you so much.
