The highest peak of Mount Grammos named Tsuka Petsik which means the peak of Petsik in Albanian, which is the fourth highest mountain in Greece. The altitude of the peak is 2521m. It can be reached from the Grammousta area of Kastoria via Lake Gistova and the ridge in 4-5 hours hiking. Also from the village of Plikati, Ioannina in 4 hours walking and from the area Aetomilitsa through the peak Perifano in also 4-5 hours of walking. The peak is the border of the laws of Kastoria and Ioannina as well as Albania. The view is incredible to the valleys of the rivers Aliakmonas and Sarandaporos. Smolikas, Tymfi and the mountain Ostrovice in Albania also look very good. Hiking does not have a technical part.

Gramos is a mountain range on the border of Greece and Albania and considered as part of the northern Pindus mountain range. Its highest peak- 2,520m (known also as "Tsuka al Petsiou") is located at the Greek side. The mountain was held by communist rebbels during the Greek Civil War, and it fell to the national government at the end of the war, in 1949. The mountain still has live minefields from the civil war despite decades of demining and therefore, the access to parts of the mountain is dangerous.

Fantastic summit with views of Greece and Albania. Tough hiking route of approximately 18km with detour from the Grammos war memorial. Red signs can be found through most of the route with a few exceptions. No shepherd dogs seen, but caution is advised. One of the best peaks and hikes in Greece. Advised to park at Aetomilitsa and start from there, for a longer route though approx 24km detour
