★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was fine, also the price. We were asked for our vaccination certificates, fine. However then they wanted our ID. I have never been asked for this. I showed our UK driving licences. They finally accepted one of the party did not have ID with him.
They were playing fast disco music which just made me feel tense. So we took our food out to the square and sat on a bench, we were 4 adults and 2 small children. They tried to stop me taking a tray until I assured them I would bring it back.
Altogether unhelpful, unlike all other Cretans I have met.
