If you want something special, just tell him... we were there twice and ate meat and fish and starters- any of those was delicious! Beside that, you will probably get the best value for your money in this location! Try it, you won‘t be disappointed! Have fun ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a long hike along the Vouraikos Gorge we came to the town of Diakofto. A very nice little town. The most visited meat tavern in town is Kostas Grill. They are a family run tavern which has been around for a long time. The food is very good fresh vegetables and good quality meats. The service was good and the tavern is clean and has plenty of space. The prices are reasonable about 15 euros per person including wine for a party of 6 people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can't really understand why people rate this restaurant so highly. The chap that runs it doesn't seem to enjoy his job very much. The food was ok (lamb nothing special, and not much meat on the bone, stuffed vegetables very good), and the patio is pretty, but the menu is very limited, and no prices are advertised - just, "come and see what's in the kitchen". So, prices were average, no cheaper than anywhere else nearby, but honestly, do yourselves a favour and eat at the hotel Panorama. So much better all round.
