★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gyradiko is as important for Toumba as the white tower for Thessaloniki. I'd say in my top 5 gyros places in Greece. First place I head to eat when back home from abroad!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another institution of fast food Thessaloniki style! Humongous portions prepared super fast! I know, I know... "cholesterol nuclear arsenal", "low quality, super dirty food".. I agree with most of the criticism. I do however indulge myself from time to time in the dirty sins of consuming delicacies like "pork gyros with spicy feta cheese cream" or "pita gyros apola". Highly recommended for the sake of "tasting" the experience...as long as you are strong enough not to fall for it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst quality and service. Prices were elevated if you were going to dine in in a fast food restaurant in Thessaloniki, which is not something typical. The waiter had to listen 4x times the first and 2x time the second order and in the end, the second order was mistaken.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best grills in the east side of the Thessaloniki city. It is located at Grigoriou Lampraki Street in the area of Ano Toumba. It has delicious dishes such as the traditional Greek gyros and souvlaki. You can find also sausages and chicken to have a taste. It has table service and indoor and outdoor seating. The service was fast and kind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Totally awesome and fresh gyros wrap! €3 only and you have to do your best to finish it. Accompanied with local retsina wine is the best thing to have for diner. I wish I could visit Thessaloniki more often.
