★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a very bad experience at this place, I was turned away for, they say, not having consumed enough a prior day. Very disappointed by this illegal behavior especially from a place that supposedly is left leaning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For those of us living in this part of the city, Mouria is the iconic cafè to be at on a Saturday afternoon right after the stroll to the vegetables street market. Relaxed atmosphere, noise from the discussions and cheap drinks, meze and coffee. No reservations are accepted. Just pop by and have a beer. The people working here are nice. The people hanging out here are nice. The place has not been renovated in the recent decades... and we all hope it will not any time soon. I love it exactly as it is. Even when we have to stay standing at the pavement waiting for a chair or table while we already finish our second round of drinks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let's face it, Η Μουριά is an institution, not just a café. Apart from the beat and, inexpensive but good wine and drinks, beverages and snacks, you will get to see and hopefully even chat with some really cool people. It is Exarhia after all!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place, classical Greek cafeteria. Young and old people seating together to enjoy their simply, tasty beverage. Lots of intelectual debate is occurring over the tables.
During the weekends is always full and if the day helps which usually happens, people will seat outside. Busy corner I must say.
