G	Gregor Beyer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional Cretan taverna run by a lovely couple. Don’t get scared off by the partially abandoned village. My tip: Try as much as you can (meze style). Everything we had was exceptionally good. The owner, his wife and his son just make you feel comfortable. You also have a nice view on the sunset. Been a pleasure and will definitely come back when I have the opportunity.
R	Roxana De Sousa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most authentic experience in Crete so far! I would give it 10 stars out of 5 (if I could). This place has the most amazing view, especially during the sunset. The owner gave us surprise foods. He asked in the beginning if there is anyone that doesn't eat meat, which is my case. We got almost all dishes vegetarian and they were incredible! When we were about to finish we got fruits and homemade desserts.

There is no set menu, the friendly man working their will tell you what he has for the day and you can decide based on this. I highly recommend trying as much as possible because the food is great. We ordered a Greek salad, meat balls, fried cheese, zucchini, dessert salad and ice cream, a bottle of water and beer and the total was 27 euros. We stopped here on our way from the airport. It's a little difficult to reach but it's well worth. You need to park a little before at the church and walk about 500m to the restaurant.

The view is amazing and complemented by the food and service makes this a 5 star place

From the chef’s menu your senses are overloaded by the freshness of the vegetables to the tenderness of the meat ( Lamb, Beef, and Rabbit) to the warmth of the fresh prepared wine leaves. The view, although amazing, is only the second best part when compared to the food. If you are in CRETE, you must try this place. Just remember, GOOGLE MAPS does not know which roads are paved and dirt, so be careful coming up here.

The owner is a person who smiles all the time, makes you feel you are home, serves delicious foods and most importantly brings the joy to your table like you are not his customers. Note for vegans: There is no menu card and you order what is available at that time. But owner helps you if you ask for some vegan options. Fried zucchini and zucchini filled with feta cheese are a must try.

We eat many portions and shared the food in meze style. At the end we received some wonderful baklavas with raki. Price - quality ratio is very satisfying.
