Helen Hotel - Ασκέλι

A small simple hotel well fitted for couples and families. Just few meters away from the shore that is located in a well sheltered position in the Aegean sea (this is really important due to the Meltemi wind that blows every day). It is managed directly by a man and his wife that are so kind with everybody and mostly with their customers. In case you have a wish, be sure that they will try to do anything is possible to do in order to satisfy your request. It is possible to enjoy any meal at the hotel: there's a restaurant managed by the owner wife. Several tables are available on a covered area on the sea board.

Pleasant helpful staff... Lovely view, good long walks, both uphill or flat... Food reasonable variety from club Sandwiches to Traditional Greek...A most friendly family run hotel.. with sea side taverna... all rooms or apartments are different in design & style... Most pleasant...

We stayed 2 nights at the Helen and it was the most beautiful warming experience! The lovely ladies looked after us so well, cooked beautiful food and the location is perfect! My idea of heaven, thank you ladies! I will be back x

We spent the day at Helen's beach. The view was amazing from the beach and when swimming as well. The beach is small quiet, calm and clean sea but with rocky seabed. Very comfortable sunbeds and polite service that includes beverages salads pizza burger. Really relaxing time.

Just returned from 8 night stay and the hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel is in a fabulous location. The staff were so friendly and kind and the hotel itself and pool were kept very clean. The food is great, the view is beautiful and we loved having the beach and beds opposite. We had a fabulous holiday, thank you hotel Helen!

Many members of my extended family from Ireland and the UK visiting Poros have stayed at the hotel over the past years. It is a real family run hotel with a massive welcoming smile and hug from Sophia and her three lovely daughters. The rooms are very spacious, with two rooms, a small kitchenette and bathroom. Each of them have very large balconies facing the sea which is only across the road. There are two levels of suites either Standard or Deluxe. The family converted the former playground into a luxurious pool and chilling out area 2 years ago and it has added a real 'wow' factor. It is a beautiful place to hang out and along with the the Sirene Hotel the smartest outside space on the island. There is also a small private beach and a sea side restaurant which serves a decent range of Greek food (plus very good pizzas if you fancy a change from traditional greek food) plus excellent salads and one or two specials every day. It is a beautiful place to watch the sunset and was always a great family favourite. However the new pool and outdoor facilities are at least 4 star and I know our family will be coming next year and the year after...

Helen Beach Hotel a family-run establishment was superb in every aspect! Upon our arrival my daughter and I were welcomed by the beautiful smile and radiant energy of owner Sofia, along with her entire family and staff that left us in awe from the very start. The hotel is newly renovated, with an elegant and sophisticated aesthetic design throughout: the rooms are very spacious with fresh and uplifting colors, the design and landscaping of the pool and lounge area elevate your senses with sheer joy and relaxation. The location and breathtaking views, the private beach, the great food and ambiance of Evriali Restaurant, along with the professionalism and ethos of the entire staff made our stay unforgettable. It was evident throughout that every detail was taken into consideration with impeccable care and attention, providing a most memorable mesmerizing experience.
