Hellenic Hospitality House - Aiolou 53

Location was fantastic, the rooms and bathrooms we great and spacious, and the manger was very accommodating and was kind enough to offer suggestions. Overall, we had a great stay and had a great trip to Athens.

I choose this place, to stay for a night due to location. The room/apt was more than enough for one night. A balcony with a view to Acropolis, big bedroom and "living room" but most important everything is really near (famous souvlaki from Kosta, Monastiraki square or even Syntagma). Really good contact with the owner and his colleague so I don't have anything bad to say.

The owner was extremely helpful and very welcoming, which was especially appreciated during additional COVID-19 regulations in July 2021. I'm sure I'd come back here if I'm in Athens again at any point - the location was superb, the room was very nice and everything was clean.

The hotel was perfect and if I am back in Athens I know where I’m staying! The rooms at this hotel were SO cute. They were very roomy and had an amazing shower plus a balcony with a view of the Acropolis. Everything is within walking distance and there are hundreds of shops/restaurants/bars on the same street. Christos was so friendly and accommodating!! He looked after me and my friends like a nice older brother :’). He let us keep our luggage after checkout because we had a late flight, and allowed us to check in early. He gave us great recommendations and printed out documents we needed for our flight home. Wish I could rate 10000000/10! If I’m ever back in Athens I will 100% book here again. I would literally rent this place out and live here if I could.

Had an amazing stay here! For the price, the room was amazing, really nice and big, bed was really comfy. Our appartment had a sofa bed aswell, we had plenty of spare bedding. Kitchen was basic but we didnt need anything else, there was a sink, mini oven, fridge. The only think i would add would be a toaster, we did cook toast in the oven and it was fine but would have been nice to have a toaster. It had a separate shower toilet and two sinks, nice a big, and great shower pressure, just remember dont flush anything down the toilet. Location is perfect, 5 minute walk from the metro station, which has a direct line to the airport so didnt have to get taxis, it was super easy. Its also right next to the shopping area and loads of great restaurants. Its also right near all the main tourist attractions, the acropolis is about 15 minutes away and you can actually see it from the balcony. Our host was also so friendly and incredibly helpful. Gave us lots of good recommendations, checked us in fine and was really helpful. I would definitely go back, and would recommend a stay here, for the location, the facilities, the size of the room, you cant get much better! Its perfect for couple, families or group of up to 4. One thing i will mention, there is a church that chimes its bell every half an hour right next to the apartment, it usually doesnt start until 10 am and stops around 10pm, however it did go off at about 6 am one morning and it is really loud and woke us up, so if youre a light sleeper, take ear plugs just incase. The bells are also 7 minutes fast (e.g. 10:23, 10:53, 11:23 etc.) Which we never asked why! But would be interesting to know why.

Great location, friendly host who is always available on whatsapp to answer questions. The room is spacious, clean and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much and will recommend it to others.

The room was comfortable and the staffing team (Christos) was especially helpful with check in and setting us up with the appropriate folks to arrange transportation and address any needs we had during our stay. The apartment was withing walking distance to many historical sites along with numerous shops, restaurants and Parliament. Again, Christos was phenomenal and orchestrated all of our transportation to and from the airport and down to the harbor port for our island cruise. I definitely recommend a stay for future customers!!

We were just at The Hellenic Hospitality House, in the Hera room, May 2022 and enjoyed our stay. First, this is an apartment building, not a hotel. There is no restaurant, room service, grand entrance, or common areas (I did not expect these amenities when booking). There are very comfortable apartments. Hera was quite large for two guests. There is a sleeping area, sitting space with a sofa and desk, and a large bathroom with two sinks and a large walk in shower. Plenty of space for two people and their sizeable pieces of luggage. All very clean. There are windows but no view from this room. Second, Christos is great, welcoming, and accommodating. There are some negative posts about the check in process but if you communicate your arrival time to Christos I am sure he will do his best to accommodate your needs. We arrived after 1900 and he arranged airport transport (40euro) with a great driver who had the apartment keys and helped us get our baggage to the room. Perfect, no problems. Practical note, there are two flights of stairs leading up to the lift which may be challenging to negotiate with large pieces of luggage. The location is central to all the main tourist sites. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and interesting sites. Hellenic Hospitality House provides an excellent value for accommodations.
