Good morning, as a student of the department, I would like to comment on the decision to "overlap" the Department of Physical Resources and Environment Engineering by the Department of Chemical Engineering expressing my opinion and the opinion of a large part of the department's students. The low rating is due to the behavior of the Technological Educational Institute of Crete with the decision not to include us from the two departments of the Chania branch in the new Mediterranean University. The students' briefing became a means of discussion between the students of the department and later with a relevant announcement sent with an attachment to the school's email with a relevant letter from the Rector, which states that the objection serves small-political interests in the upgrading of TEI of Crete to University but he did not fail to mention us indefinitely as one of the departments that will be "overcrowded" by leaving meantime new and old students for the degree they will receive at the end of the curriculum. It is reported that students who have not exceeded the 4-semester limit after completing the 4 years required to complete the program offset the courses that have already passed with the new courses of the Department of the Mediterranean University, supplementary courses of the new curriculum of the Chemical Engineering Department. For the rest of the students there is no mention of this, so we understand that the title will be a one-way street without any entry in the new section. It should be noted that the letter speaks of "overlapping" of our department without mentioning any arrangements for obtaining a degree from the Mediterranean University.

Do not waste your time and money on such schools. You will be unemployed for a lifetime. Far away !!

If I could put zero I would put it since thousands of students were left with a toilet paper in hand and doing various other jobs because the school never gave the supplies to enter the job market. They wasted a cart of money and time on nothing. On the contrary, it was the students who kept the institution alive by offering work to all the teachers.
