Auffallend durch das Zwiebeldach neben dem Turm.
Leider verschlossen, daher nicht von innen besichtigt.
Catholic church below the New Fortress in Kerkira.
Striking through the onion roof next to the tower.
Unfortunately closed, therefore not visited from the inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Καθολική ιστορική εκκλησία του 1663, η οποία φέρει την ονομασία : Madonna del Carmelo - Παναγία του Καρμήλου ή Καρμελιτών. Οι ντόπιοι την αναφέρουν ως Παναγιά Τενέδου. Λειτούργησε και ως μοναστήρι το οποίο η έκτασή του καταλάμβανε το χώρο μέχρι τα τείχη της ανατολικής εισόδου του νέου φρουρίου, υπάρχουν σωζόμενα τα τείχη, τα εσωτερικά κτίσματα (τα οποία έχουν ανακαινησθεί πλήρως και λειτουργούν στις μέρες μας ως εστιατόριο) και ο αύλιος χώρος. Βρίσκεται σε μια μικρή πλακώστρωτη πλατεία, στη γραφική συνοικία της Τενέδου, μια από τις ομορφότερες και παλαιότερες γειτονιές της παλιάς πόλης της Κέρκυρας.
Catholic historical church of 1663, which bears the name: Madonna del Carmelo - Virgin of Carmel or Carmelites. The locals refer to her as Panagia Tenedou. It also functioned as a monastery whose area occupied the space up to the walls of the eastern entrance of the new fortress, there are surviving walls, the interior buildings (which have been completely renovated and now function as a restaurant) and the courtyard. It is located in a small paved square, in the picturesque district of Tenedos, one of the most beautiful and oldest neighborhoods of the old town of Corfu.

Near the gate of the New Fortress and at the end of Solomou Street is the Latin Church of Our Lady of Tenedos, which is one of the most interesting churches in the city for its architecture.
