The church of St Procopius was built in the 14th century and was originally a single aisle with a wooden roof. Later, after the repeated interventions accepted until the early 17th century, it acquired the shape basilica, form that maintains until today. The older (late 14th century) and most important frescoes are on the western wall of the original church. In 1589 and 1607 the church was painted again with significant frescoes which include, among others, performances such as the Nativity, the Annunciation, the Man of Sorrows and Ascension and saints illustrations as Saints Achilles, Constantine and Helen, Theodora, Mamas etc.
