★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Στον χώρο του σημερινού ναού, υπήρχε, παλαιότερα άλλος ναός που κατασκευάστηκε το 1843 εποχή που αγιογραφήθηκε η εικόνα της Παναγίας της Βρεφοκρατούσας από τον αγιογράφος Μανουήλ Ζωγράφου. Υπάρχει υποψία και για μοναστήρι.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η κατασκευή του Ιερού Ναού της Κοιμήσεως Της Θεοτόκου ξεκίνησε το 1965 και ολοκληρώθηκε το 1971. Ο Ναός κατασκευάστηκε στη θέση του παλιού Ναού της ΚοιμήσεωςΤης Θεοτόκου. Είναι ρυθμού Βασιλικής, Σταυροειδής με τρούλο. Οι Αγιογραφίες στο εσωτερικό του Ναού έγιναν από το 1988 – 1992 .Ο Ναός πανηγυρίζει στις 15 Αυγούστου, ημέρα εορτής της Κοιμήσεως Της Θεοτόκου
Construction of the Church of the Assumption began in 1965 and was completed in 1971. The Temple was built on the site of the old Church of the Assumption. It is Basilica-style, cruciform with a dome. The hagiographies inside the Temple were made from 1988 - 1992. The Church celebrates August 15, the Feast of the Assumption.
