Ὁ θεμέλιος λίθος τέθηκε τό 1974 ἀπό τόν τότε Μητροπολίτη Σερρῶν καί Νίγρίτης Κωνσταντῖνο (Καρδαμένη) καί ὁ Ναός ἀνεγέρθηκε καί ἁγιογραφήθηκε ἐξὁλοκλήρου μέ δαπάνες τοῦ φιλογενοῦς μεγάλου εὐεργέτου τῆς τοπικῆς Ἐκκλησίας κ. Δημητρίου Ἀναστασιάδη, προέδρου τοῦ ὁμίλου Fibran, Ἄρχοντα χαρτουλάριου τοῦ Οἰκουμενικοῦ Πατριαρχείου.
The Holy Temple of the Three Hierarchs was built on a plot of the then Terpna Community of the Municipality of Nigrita, which was granted for its construction. The foundation stone was laid in 1974 by the then Metropolitan of Serres and Nigritis Constantine (Kardameni) and the church was erected and painted entirely at the expense of the great philanthropist of the local Church, Archbishop Fr.
