★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η τοπική ονομασία του βουνού στην κορυφή του είναι '' Πριόνι '', λόγω της βραχωδους κορυφογραμμης που πραγματικά ομοιάζει σε πριόνι.Αυτο φυσικά αφήνοντας την φαντασία μας να δεχτεί την μυσταγωγία που μας προσφέρει το υψόμετρο του. Γυρίζοντας την πλάτη σε τούτη την ονειροπόληση ο θεατής θα βρεθεί κατάματα με τον Ευβοϊκό κόλπο. Το γαλάζιο του ουρανού αντανακλάται στην ηρεμία της θάλασσας. Είσαι σίγουρος πως πατάς την Ελλάδα του Παπαδιαμάντη... Και η νήσος 'Μητρός', που μοιάζει με βέλος από ψηλά τοξευει στην ιστορική διαχρονια την αρχαία συνέχεια τούτου του τόπου. Ένα από τα ομορφότερα σημεία του δημου Λοκρών που μαρτυρεί στον επισκέπτη και τα χωρικά του όρια αλλά και τα χρονικά του μυστικά!
