His boutique selection of records is always of top-notch quality, he is always willing to help you find what suits you best as well as suggest you hidden gems. You'll find the best selection of past and present underground electronic music (leftfield, 80s minimal synth, new wave, post-punk, techno, experimental, Belgian new beat, balearic house, EBM, industrial), along with hand-picked jazz and afro records, and of course the best of the Greek contemporary underground scene. If you need to visit only one record store in Athens, Homcore is the place. Tip: Look out for any Joalz or Leon Segka records (Leonida's personal projects), they are highly sought after these days.

Entering this place is not like stepping through another door in the multitude of record shops that Athens has to offer, no, it's diving headfirst into the bedroom of a passionate teenager. Taking with him all the sympathy linked to ardour and passion, without feeling overwhelmed by the "paternal authority" usually found in most record shops. There, if you think you are a warns music connoisseur, you will lose your certainties. If you think you are a novice, you will finally discover there that emotions have no rankings and that only feelings are their masters in melody. Meet its owner is to meet your joy, and face, without fear, your melancholy. A necessary jewel in the heart of this atypical city. Ps: be vigilant, the owner is also a formidable salesman. Do not protect your ears but keep one hand on your wallet, it could lose weight as your heart gets fatter.

He listened to what i liked then suggested several records which he opened and let me listen to. Not pushy at all!
