Hotel Ammos - Hotel Ammos

With any hotel there are things you like and things you dislike and for me it's about half and half. The sun beds are clean and pool area is OK. Personally I felt it was too small. There is no where to escape to here, like a quiet garden to read a book in, and the swimming pool is very small and only really family sized but to be fair we went in August when it was really busy. I spent most of my time on the beach and really only had breakfast and slept here. The rooms are fine, beds comfortable and pretty clean with a small kitchenette and quite cosy. (I did get bitten a lot and I think it was flea bites rather than mosquitoes which was unpleasant....) The other thing I disliked was the shower in the room. It had only a flimsy curtain around it so water went every where making the bathroom like a pool and quite dangerous to slip. I think they should fit doors to the shower as it would be more hygienic and less dangerous. Bedding and towels are NOT changed every day I think it was twice a week. Good location and not too far from the beach but a bit steep for tired legs on a hill. Family run place and they are really nice and worked incredibly hard and were approachable and friendly! This place was too small staying for 2 weeks, but would probably be ok on a shorter stay and if you were using this place as a Base to explore Halkidiki it would be fine. Food here is pretty good and breakfast and coffee really nice and the Greek salad was also delicious! Taxis aren't easy to get from here so a car hire might be better or get the bus from the bus stop 5 mins away.

Extremely friendly family run hotel, who couldn't do enough for you. Very clean rooms, lovely modern decor, all in all a great place to spend time on holiday. Bar has a good variety of drinks, and serves a great pint of Mythos. ??☀

Lovely little hotel , family run, couldn't do enough for you.good selection of snacks very reasonably priced. Only real problem was as the days got hotter the hill to the beach and front seemed to get steeper. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Very beautiful hotel with really polite service! I enjoyed specially the beers amd the snacks when I was refreshed from the pool!! I can't wait to come again next year! :)

Stayed for a week and have to say this is a awesome small family run hotel, from the time of arrival we were made to feel welcome. The family make you feel like your like there extended family and not just a guest. The room was very clean and bed was comfy. Room had all facilities you needed for room only. We spent many days around the pool and never had a problem with sunbeds or overcrowding. Service here is second to none for a small hotel and probably puts most hotels to shame as there only goal is to make sure your happy, which they most definitely excel in. Plenty of drinks and food to choose from all reasonably priced and will do room service at no extra charge. This is how a family run hotel should be and will definitely visit again. Maybe listed as 2* hotel, but most definitely 5* service.

A really excellent experience full of comfort and quiet!! The hotel includes also a pool and a pool bar with a lot of delicious snacks and drinks! I will visit the place next summer hopefully! We'll done and thank you for everything! :)

I have almost spent my time here and this place in my opinion is perfect. Why. So the service here is incredible I have never known a hotel ever to go as far as the staff here do. The service they give you is beyond fantastic and I have been in some 5 star hotels that don’t come near the service you get here. Your greeted by your first name every time your seen. You are made to feel part of this incredible family that run this hotel. The food is delicious, the views are incredible, the beach is literally down the road 5 minutes and it’s gorgeous. If your looking for an incredible break to relax and unwind come here. I will be coming back

Stayed here about 15 years ago not long after it was built (I think) and Dimitris & Maria and family were wonderful welcoming hosts. In fact the second week no guests were there just us and they took us all into there home for a week in Thessalonika for which was wonderful. Well recommend this to anyone Ric
