Hotel Anemomilos - Agia Anna

Cozy and clean hotel, very close to the beach it was quiet and safe. The owner was nice and very helpful.

Visited the Hotel twice and more to come. Maria is a great person and always takes care of the hotel. Always clean and tidy. Walking distance from the beautiful beaches of Aghios Prokopios, Aghia Anna and Plaka. An awesome hotel at a perfect location.

This is a difficult review to write. Maria was friendly and accommodating. The room is spacious and the kitchenette is useful. Unfortunately the room had a severe insect problem. This is not the fault of the hotel, as the entire neighborhood has a severe fly problem. We could not open the door for even 30 seconds without the room filling with 20-30 biting flies. Bug netting would be a *huge* enhancement for these rooms. The flies are very attracted to people and bedding and made the stay very uncomfortable. Ants were also a problem, with about 30-50 sugar ants present at any given time. We killed dozens of flies and ants during our stay. Without the ability to open doors or windows, our room was stifling, stuffy, and musty. The washroom was also quite a bit rougher than the advertised photos would suggest. Overall this place would be great value for money if not for the severe insect problem. Again, this is a neighborhood/island-wide problem. I am covered in flies as I write this. I haven’t eaten food not touched by flies since I got here. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

Wonderful hotel, clean rooms, bedding and towels changed daily. Pool cleaned every day, facilities immaculate. Maria, the owner, looks after her guests like family. Highly recommended, you won't find better

Good communication, very clean, helpful management, kids love the pool. Very near beach and restaurants. If you like the touristy vibe, this is a good place.
