★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Totally unprofessional behaviour! I called in the beginning of February to make a reservation for beginning of September and they told me to call in a couple of weeks when the prices would be finalised and the reservation system would be on. After 4 calls by 20 February, where every time they repeated the same, I was finally told that there is no room available for those dates because the hotel is booked for an event!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very unprofessional service at this seaside taverna. Hostile waitstaff and agressive management made our visit there unforgettable. In a bad way. We won’t go back as the response to requests to pay by credit card were rebuffed and treated as an insult. Threatening gestures, rude language and boorish behavior ruined our visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Built in 1965 (and it shows), a very cozy little hotel positioned in an inlet right by the sea, from the times when hotels were built to blend in the location and not tower over it. There's also a diver's school right across the street and they share the beach when coming and going. Very helpful hosts, with a very good restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst hotels I have stayed at. It seems that CALYPSO has had its glory days, but now it is merely a decadent and dilapidated hotel in a good, although not well preserved nor connected, location.
Overpriced, very old fashioned, incredibly dated rooms, questionable cleanliness, bathrooms old and extremely dirty, poor breakfast and bad customer service.
The WiFi connection was very poor throughout the hotel and not provided at all in the rooms, which is very inconvenient for business trips like mine.
The staff was very unprofessional and unfriendly, not used to speaking English neither to make much effort to find other ways to communicate and interact with guests.
Even rating it half a star would be too generous!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The calypso hotel offers all the things which people on holiday need, the place is amazing, with an incredible view on the sea, the room are basic but full of every conforts and clean, the restaurant cooks a lot of delicious and the family, who manage the hotel, the ms Dimistra and her sons, is in every time ready to help his hosts and two ensure their amusement

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purely Mediterranean landscape, unchanged by the common commercial touch. Nice beach, clean water, terrific view, no beach bar (and I add this as a positive fact). In the hotel we had dinner, an enjoyable traditional menu with the sound of the waves at a reasonable price. Staff very friendly and fast. The menu was a bit dull, that is why I am cutting a star. Strongly recommend.
