A really cozy hotel with a great view of the city.

Lovely hotel. Family service. Slightly hard mattresses, no sound insulation, a lot of dog glare at night in the surrounding gardens.

I have been here several times because it is close to public transport and then there are calm mosquitoes can occur ?

Absolutely perfect when you just want to be a small place ?

Golden beach is a collection of small apartments with kitchenettes and a small nice balcony. It is a nice alternative way to stay in Crete as you do not feel like staying in a huge hotel. Welcoming staff, who can be found in a small reception every day between 8-10. A little hard beds, but otherwise super overall.

A really nice holiday in quiet surroundings, mainly "for adults" - Beautiful view, friendly and helpful staff - totally cozy, a real family feeling hit me on arrival and also had it when I travel :-)

Super nice and cozy hotel, the staff are nice and very helpful. It is not very big, which helps to keep it relatively calm. There is no catering at all, but it is available at the neighboring hotel. At the neighboring hotel there is a delicious morning buffet incl. drink for 8 € The rooms are not the latest, but that does not matter. There is a flat screen TV with HDMi in the 4 rooms our family was in. The hotel is not so suitable for children or. strollers use. However, we were given a room with access from the road so we avoided stairs. But the terrain is grouped / hilly. There is free Wi-Fi and a safe. Air conditioning was for a fee

Was at this beautiful hotel from 11.06 to 18.06.2018. We have been to Crete approx. 25 times since 1995, where we have lived around this amazing island. We are clearly most for Agii Apostoli in every way, the beaches (the two bathing bays where the water is always calm and slowly getting deep) the surroundings, the silence m.m. That is why we have recently chosen hotels located in this area, although it is sometimes more expensive than the hotels west of Agii Apostoli, but those cities are for us too touristy (although Agii Apostoli in recent years has been expanded in the same way ) We landed Monday night and it was dark when we got out of the hotel. We were picked up 500 meters from the hotel by the hotel owner's son. When we got the room key to apartment no. 3 which was level with the road, we were not very optimistic until he opened the door and we saw the view over the sea, with the lights in the Bay towards Chania. Then we were sold. The following morning we experienced what a unique view the hotel has both towards the mountains and the sea. All apartments both the studios and the two-bedroom apartments have sea views, however, there is one of the Monday apartments facing the street, it would be tiring to live in. There is a great atmosphere and silence in the hotel. If we have to say one negative thing, the hotel might need a little renovation and renovation in the rooms and apartments themselves, and the beds are hard (but it is now quite general for southern hotels) But we would rather have this amazing view (the hotel is located high above the sea) rather than the newly renovated and new 4-5 star hotels located below the Golden Beach Hotel. The hotel owner and his son simply keep the rooms, the surroundings, the pool, etc. so nice and clean. From now on, we will never stay anywhere else but the Golden Beach Hotel. Next year's holiday is already planned.
