Hotel Ionion - Kapodistriou 10

Old n dirty. Strands of hair on the bed . Bed sheets not clean, looks unwashed from previous guest. Wierd smell in the room. Only thing good is aircon is working and hot water shower is ok. Shower head broken too. Overpriced for room of this standard. Only consolation is that its very near to the port. Room stank with stale cigarette smoke.

Very basic room and relatively small. No amenities in the bathroom, only TP, soap, and towels. Old building and the furniture is very basic, chairs were old and dirty. Table was in a dead corner in the room so i had to use the top of fridge as a table to out things on. Bed was low and wasn't the best, you could feel the springs pushing against your body. Internet connection was good but intermittent. I had to ask for a receipt a few hours after I checked in since the hotel accepts only cash payments. Small bathroom and toilet space. Dim light in the room. No view at all. A flight of stairs until you reach the elevator, not nice if you are travelling with a lot of luggage and especially if nobody will help you. Old and empty mini fridge in the room. The fridge made a sound as if someone was sleeping in your room and breathing heavily. No soundproofing, you could hear any noise from the same floor or the floors underneath.  The night shift gentleman at the reception was rude and was talking on the phone when I wanted to ask him for a scale, he saw me but continued talking on the phone for 2 mins, and when he finished he asked "yes! Do you want something?" Good location. Close to the ferry port and the train/metro station. The lady in the afternoon was very sweet and helpful. Room and bathroom were clean. Clean sheets and pillows as well as towels. Hot water and water compression are very good. Ok if you plan to stay for 1 or 2 nights max.

For a one night stay the hotel is serviceable, but do expect an uncleaned toilet, an uninviting decor and only one plug in the room. I wouldn't really recommend it for anything other than waiting for your boat.

This hotel is cheap but is a real dive. Having said that, the sheets were clean but that's the only positive I'd be prepared to add! The decor is dreadful, the fitments falling apart. Will never return.

Location is great for ferries and metro, BUT the wifi does not work ( even though service man was called out), the tv does not work as there where no batteries in the remote, the shower pipe leaks, very cold, only a sheet, no blanket. It is price relevant.

Perfect for overnight stay, you get what you pay for

Very nice hotel for only 2 stars, you can see the docks from the balcony and it is also just less than 20 minutes walking from pasalimani that is a really beautiful place to visit!

I had a 12-hour Gap from my flight till the boat left and needed a place to freshen up and rest. One of the restaurant waiters recommended this hotel and to my surprise it was an hourly stopover for people that aren't tourists but are serviced by the locals! We found someone trying to crawl in the window that didn't close an hour luggage had been gone through as well. I would steer clear of those types of places in the future!
