The location is good. The room is clean and in right size with a small balcony, fridge and air-con. The bed is comfortable. There are no hostel in Meteora and it maybe one of the best bargain. There is no favour for early check-in or late check-out.

This is the best rip off in meteora, I've never ever met such an ill mannered person in my life (before meeting the owner of this hotel). We were a little late due to both bad road and difficulty in finding the place, so decided to call the owner, he was irritated from the word hello and told us that how can we not find the hotel that is situated on the main road. Anyways somehow we managed to find the place after getting help from people. When we arrived at the hotel we contacted the owner again and he showed up in a while enraged, opened the hotel door and angrily inquired if it was us who were calling him and told us if we were not reading the check in rules, if we do not like the rules and don't want to pay extra we should find another place. The owner was demanding 15 euros extra for late check in which in the beginning I declined to pay because of his really bad attitude. But since this was a non refundable reservation i decided to pay and atleast spend the night as it was already late because of him starting the argument for a long time without showing any empathy and flexibility. Once we decided to pay and asked for a parking space which we already checked the box when making the reservation he quite angrily stated that the parking is dependent on availability and that we need to park our car on a paid parking 50 meters away from the hotel. Since we did not have a choice and wanted to sleep as quickly as possible after an extremely long day we agreed to park some where else. He asked us to fill in the form but immediately changed his mind took away the form and stated "you know what, you don't stay here and this is a cancellation now" and asked us to leave the hotel and threatened us that he would contact the POLICE and they would throw us out from the premises, we decided to not leave the place after all this humiliation and demanded the reimbursement of the reservation cost. After another round of argument he finally decided to contact booking and we had to leave the premises after being requested by them since the owner was not willing to accept us as guests after waiting approximately for an hour and a half and the clock ticking around 00:35 hrs. With the help of booking we found a hotel nearby named kaikus with much friendly staff and excellent service. This was a nightmare experience!!

Pros: - Perfect location to explore Meteora and within 5 minute walk from bus and train stations. - Very helpful and caring staff. - Clean and confortable hotel even in cold winter days. Cons: - Shower leaked and needed renovation. A bit small as well, but could not ask for more for 32€/night.

Very friendly people and decent breakfast. The parking is limited, and the room smaller than I expected. The air conditioning is directly above my head and there is no screens, so I can not keep the balcony door open without mosquitos coming in. The bathroom is also too small. To sum up, almost fair for its price, but not so comfortable.

The staff are fantastic and so helpful about everything, The hotel is conveniently situated around the train station and the bus station, very clean, comfortable and with excellent WiFi (even in my room). The room was very cozy with a wonderful view towards Monastery St. Stephen and very clean. The breakfast was abundant.

The hotel is quite alright. I found it better than I expected to be honest, since I had read some of the bad reviews before arriving and was a bit afraid. Our room was nice and clean, it was small but still comfortable to be in -my boyfriend is almost 2 mts tall, and he didn't have any problem. The staff was friendly and ready to help. Breakfast was not so good though, but in general it seemed like breakfast was not really an important meal for the Greeks in that area. I am giving the hotel 5 stars because it was right what we paid for, a nice room with a/c to spend the night while exploring Meteora. It is on the country side so do expect to find little ants crawling on your stuff if you leave food around, and the furniture is a bit old, it's not a fancy place but a great affordable spot to spend the night.

The only hotel we encountered in our 15 days trip in Greece that has to pay cash in Greece. We had forgotten about this exception & didn't bring a lot of Euro asthinking for hotel & restaurant, we will as usual use credit card. After requesting to let us pay with credit (€215 for 2 nights), the reception was rude in her reply telling us off that the reservation slip stated payment is in cash & if we cannot pay, she would want us to get off the hotel. Where can we get room during the Christmas period? We could even booked a 5 stars hotel with credit card except we really didn't want to bring loads overseas in case we lose it. €215 for 2N is also a rip off. Room wasn't that great although clean & no lift to go to 3rd floor. Have to lug our heavy luggage up. Breakfast is not included. Stay away from this Hotel if you can find other hotel. Farmissi or another 5 star hotel just down the road.

We stayed here over the Christmas break 2021 in room A14. Firstly an email was sent to them via booking.com advising of our requirements and that we needed 2 rooms as we had 4no adults and 3no children. The hotel didn't respond to this email, so we searched the internet to find the hotel telephone number. My son in law called them and booked everything advising that we actually needed 3no rooms and that there was 5no children. This was confirmed verbally, and the next day we arrived at the hotel to check-in. Parking is extremely small with only a few spaces, we did manage to park and then duly went to reception. The receptionist at first was ok, and advised that check-in would be at 2.00pm. She then kept pushing on whether we needed the rooms or not, and if not tell her now, as the hotel was receiving lots of calls from other people looking for accommodation. We confirmed we wanted the rooms, and was waiting of our other guests to arrive to make sure everything was in hand. We returned to the Hotel at 2.00pm, to check the rooms. We needed accommodation and said that they were fine. We then advised that our other friends could not stay and we would only require 2no rooms and not 3no. This was accepted, and then the fun began. We were then advised that they were not advised about the children and that an additional 50 euros per night was required for each room to accommodate the children, we disagreed with this, and was told take it or leave. The receptionist was then joined by another member of staff who was equally rude, and the both of them then decided to talk as loud and as fast as they could both at the same time like cackling chickens. Once the shouting had stopped we were then told that it is cash only as they don't take card and that we have to pay in advance. (no card payment in Greece is now illegal) we found a cash point and then paid in cash. We asked about breakfast, they advised no breakfast. So no card payment and no breakfast.( I have no subsequently reported them to the Greek Tax Authorities re the card payment. This I would not have normally done, but both members of staff were so rude). We then went to our room. My room was A14, the room is small and was clean. The first thing we noticed was the temperature in the room, the heating was on full blast, and we could not turn it down. The radiator valves were stuck solid, so at night we slept with both balcony doors open, whilst the heating was on. The beds were so uncomfortable made your back ache. The shower in the bathroom is just about useless, as its so small, the bathroom sink is cracked, and the bathroom fan so noisy you think its going to jump out of the ceiling. The hairdryer cable cable is held together with tape. The hotel is at best a poor hostel. Staff rude, the lobby smells of smoke. This is from a fire that they light in the lounge. Why I don't know as it doesn't actually give off any heat. If your looking to stay here this is a last place to go if there is nowhere else. POOR.
