Trying to be objective. Positives: Nice family hotel and very convenient location close to Ancient Stagira and its forest landscapes touching the sea. We were welcomed very warmly and friendly by Loulou (the host) with pastry treats and a drink. In addition, we were kindly welcomed with little compliments in the room. She gave us a sea view room on the second floor exactly as I wished upon booking. As a whole, Loulou and both Russian assistants were very friendly and helpful all the time. In the restaurant, where we had dinner, Dimitris and his team were likewise very kind and cooperative. Negatives: We were disappointed when we learned there was no buffet breakfast and we must eat what they serve to us. In fact, we did not go hungry, some items in the breakfast were homemade and delicious. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat everything for health reasons. So, I prefer to have choice when it comes to food. There was not buffet dinner too, but there was at least some choice in the menu list, but generally the same every evening. Another disappointing detail was the lack of bathroom toiletries – shampoo, soap, etc., except the first day. In short, the hotel and its staff are very nice, and yet the overall service is much overpriced.

Hotel Liotopi is a small and very welcoming hotel in a lovely corner of Greece. The owner Loulou makes jams and prepares a fresh breakfast which is different every day and is served in her charming garden. The rooms all have air conditioning and you are a very short walk to the beach and up the hill to the glorious own ruins and their amazing sea views but just go early or late as it can get very hot in the heat of the day in August.

Great staff , friendly and polite! the pace of life slows down here! you can leave your worries behind and just enjoy the sea , the sun and the food. Clear water, four different beaches in the area. we were looking for a quiet place with good food and good prices. Not to mention being 700 m away from Aristotle's birth place and this is (Hotel Liotopi) - the place for you! pretty much a place for families and couples!

Such a lovely place. We felt like we were part of the family. And the breakfast - words can't describe it at all, everything is fresh and homemade. We would love to come back again.

Very cosy and very clean hotel! Great location, very kind and helpful staff. Owner is dedicated to make guests feel welcome and special! Breakfast in the garden, with imaginative and homemade cooking is experience for itself! Traditional Greek hospitality makes you feel at home! Whole family loved it!

My husband and I spent our mini Easter holiday (4 days) in this beautiful Hotel. We travelled a lot, especially through Greece. We love this country and Greek hospitality. But, this wasn’t just spending a holiday. From the first day, we felt like a part of the family. Loulou and her team do a great job in the hotel. They welcomed us with cakes, pastries, and juice. As we were fasting until Easter, breakfasts were specially prepared for us, and we enjoyed them every day. There was plenty of delicious, homemade food, with great quality and quantity. The hotel is spotlessly clean, we had a nice sea view room. Loulou was available for all our questions, she reserved tickets for us for a bout trip around the Holy mountain Athos, which was an incredible experience. In the end, we got a sweet present (homemade marmalade made by Loulou). The other part of the review is dedicated to lovely evenings we spent in Mr. Dimitris's restaurant Agroyialy (as a part of the half-board). There was a great choice of food every evening. You can choose an appetizer, main dish, and dessert. There is a great variety of salads, seafood, meat, and everything was fresh and carefully prepared. We enjoyed everything we tried. We ate seafood mostly, great calamari, mussels, and the best-grilled octopus ever. The wine was also very nice. As we are orthodox and were there for Easter, we decided to have a traditional Greek Easter dinner after midnight. Mr. Dimitris welcomed us as a part of the family, as we were eating with his family in the restaurant that evening. The dinner was fantastic with soup, lamb, salad, and wine. Beside the food, I was writing about, our great impression was Mr. Dimitris's hospitality, the way he talks and animates his guests. He is very kind, and I must say very funny in a positive way. His humor is very intelligent and we laughed a lot. We had a lot of themes to talk about. Although he was very busy, he always had time for us and made our evenings special. In the end, we got a bottle of wine as a present. We felt like leaving a family when we had to go home. We recommend Hotel Liotopi and Agroyialy restaurant to everyone who wants a personalized treatment, far away from mass tourism. We would like to thank our Greek friends for a great Easter holiday and hope we will meet again. Best regards from Jelena and Vuk (Serbia)
