I can’t really blame the owner, what can you do 1st with just a few euros per night…this poor country has gone through an economic disaster for 10+ years and now Covid for 2+ years. I feel sorry for the people of Greece and this owner is trying to survive God Bless you! We are a Greek-American ?? & Russian-American family with much higher standards, but I feel the pain here, an older owner setting at the reception at 11 pm to serve the few Winter guest freezing and with escalating power and goods prices raising by the hour Corfu is one of our favorite island in the world ? love the country and it’s people. Happy to be here ???? Small follow up...We had to leave early since everyone smoked in the building including the owner...
