Hotel Rachoni Beach - Hotel Rachoni Beach

We stayed here for a week in 2017, great location - on the beach, we had a mountain view room. The beach is shaded by the natural pines but it takes a bit of getting used to the pine needles fallen in the sand. Great access in the sea for the kids ( if u have any) :) ! We were on a half board stay, food is decent, you're not going to starve. I'm curious what those people that leave bad rewiews eat at home for breakfast - don't forget - this is not Turkey. Check in at 14:00 and they will not bulge!

Hotel relatively clean outside the canteen and swimming pool. Cold, average and monotonous food. Service unpleasant, did not communicate in English. All-inclusive very poor. Wifi connection poor or missing Nice rooms. Sandy beach with a gentle descent to the sea.

Rachoni Bay Resort is the worst hotel I've ever been in terms of service and the most important disgusting hygiene. Towels in both rooms were so unpleasant to see, smell, that you feel slightly sick. The color of the towels was grey instead of white and bad sheets were all in yellow spots. I made a complain to the reception and the receptionist ( i think he was the owner - local Grecian) argument was "you pay 50 euro per a night what do you expect". This was the roughest answer I have ever heard. He also told me that I won't receive any new towels because they change them every 3 days. And that was what happen. We never received clean towels and bed sheets and they only cleaned the room (partly) once in 3 days. I have pictures of everything mentioned below plus the mold in the bathroom. There are many other negative things I could tell about this hotel such as not enough food, smell in the main corridor etc. I'm looking at and will find a way to shut down this hotel as this is what they deserve.

Personeel is friendly, the food is freshly cooked, do not expect fast food. The view is beautiful. The area is quiet, pleasent.

The Hotel has a great beach with also a great pool. The water is hot and clean. There are shelfs in the sea and a dock for fishing. There are many trees so you can sit under them. The food was ok. There were no sweets and no fruits, only 1 day there was fruit. The towels were changed only once in 8 days. The man who worked at the beachbar was very nice.

Awful! Terrible! Disgusting! You get fast food for All inclusive. Monotonous food, the same thing every day. Eggs and salami 100 ways. There is no accommodation, the air conditioning is barely cold, the first 5 days you get a room with a view of the parking lot, if you rebel the other 5 days you get a room with a sea view. Once in 10 days you get clean linen and towels. You can use Wifi in the morning early or late at night, it is constantly loaded. The pool is small, literally for 5 people. The beach is full of pine needles, the sea is clear but the bottom is full of mud. For 10 days stay - 9 days we went to other beaches. I don't recommend this accommodation to anyone!

What do I start with? We had ants in our room... We asked for help with that and they fixed it but when we asked for fresh towels and to change our bed sheets... nothing. My husband had to go again to the reception and get some towels himself. I went there and asked AGAIN to have our bed sheets changed (5 days after we arrived we had to ASK FOR IT) and the manager said from his point of view the room was clean, given that someone was there to get rid of the ants... bed sheets and towels are, apparently, not important. His attitude was definitely not nice or polite. The food is really not the best and we have to stand in a line to get it... Never coming here again. It is not worth the money.

Reservation made and confirmed on Booking.com. Upon arrival, hotel was overbooked and they offered us to stay for two nights in another hotel - Alea Suites. In the room: no air conditioning and TV remotes, despite asking at the reception, they asked us to take them from the other friends we were together with. So we spend the entire vacation sending the remote for the air conditioning from one room to another. I bought an universal TV remote form the supermatket with 7 EUR which at the end I sold it to the hotel owner :) The mosquito net had holes, we had to buy mosqiuto repellent from the nearby market. The bahtroom furniture was old and damaged by moisture, the shower not working with overhead option, just the hose was working. In one week no change of towels or bed sheets, not cleaning the room, they just took out the garbage from the bin. Staff very rude and unprofessional, bad food, very noisy, very dirty, for food you have to wait in long lines. A mattress was left in the loby all the days. The reception was left unattended with phone ringing all the time. They had a computed but never saw it running, all their activity was recorded on paper. Bottom line - unprofessional management that can be seen in every aspect of the hotel. Extremely bad experience, I am NOT reccomending this hotel, please avoid it.
