A wonderful hotel next to the beach. The place is fantastic for couples and families! I would definitely recommend this!

Haven't stayed at the hotel. We only tried the restaurant. The food was one of the most delicious we have tried in Greece. We had Mix Fish, Stuffed Aubergine and draft white wine. The Mix Fish was a very large portion, enough for 2 people and had amazing sauces. The draft white wine was fine and went well with the fish. Everything is grilled not fried, which for us is a thumbs up! The waiters are helpful, quick to respond and always around. The prices are a bit high compared to other local restaurants but the food quality is well worth it.

As a summary, Akti is a cozy hotel with a  good location, but medium when it comes to free breakfast and catastrophical when it comes to personnel. We only ate once at the restaurant - as a quick impression the food was good but the service and the atitude can be improved. We are a family of four and we stayed in the hotel for 9 days - long enough to have a clear understanding of the accomodation facilities. Starting with the positive aspects: - cozy rooms with nice panorama; - clean - daily room service, new towels, shampoo etc; - the beach is very close; - nice pool. Unfortunately, the overalll good rating of the facility was shadowed by the "cheap" atitude of the personnel: - breakfast always the same in 9 days, the only difference being the way the eggs were cooked. In a few mornings the ham was not very fresh, the only fruit in the whole period was the watermellon, the fresh juice is a joke and the cofee was more like an unsuccesfull tea. The overall view was that of a cheap breakfast, the personnell not very eager to fill the gaps with the finished products; - the beach is not only with sand, especially for the kids water shoes are recommended; - the beach is not free, but in a very strange way I could not tell how much does it cost. The waitress from Akti restaurant (rude and impolite) keeps telling you that you didn't order enough from the bar for using the umbrella and the sunbeds, although no price for those is listed. We gave up after day 1 and moved to other beaches (not free, as well, but where the personnel was kind and helpful); - the pool -otherwise cozy - is like a church were the kids were not allowed to laugh, talk or play and were kicked out by the same young and impolite waitress; - not enough parking lots for all the guests; - the hospitality that we met in allover Thassos, on every beach, at every restaurant or tavern, lacks here. As a conclusion,  if you only come for the accomodation, Atki might be a good place, but if you are looking for the greek spirit, this is not the right place.

Nice place to stay and restaurant with terrace. Most of the staff friendly, the other quite the opposite! We had breakfast for 7 euros and although I was just seating with my family they charge me, too!

A certain waiter at the restaurant was highly bothersome and insulting to multiple people in my group of friends. They took advantage of the fact that some of us spoke Greek to insult foreigners and some tourists that were walking past, while joking that "good job they don't understand Greek" towards those of us that were foreign, too. Even those of us that could understand him were disgusted by their behaviour and one of us even changed seats to be further away from them. This waiter also tried to be "friendly" to another table by sitting with them and taking up half their table and really infringing on their personal space. We could see that the other people really didn't want him there and just wanted to eat their food in peace.

Amazing!!! Food is perfect, lamb is the best on the island. We tried everything from the menu. All food is tasty and fresh. Staff is very friendly and kind ( Kiril, Cristian, Klaidi and beautiful Rafaela) The hotel is on the beach, with a beautiful pool , rooms are very clean and comfortable. Cleaning every day. The owners are non-stop there and help you with everything you need. We felt wonderful!!!

Smiley staff, tasty foot, fast service, what more you need from restaurant next to beautiful view :)
