ΗotelDom is a product of a successful collaboration through the years of Yannis Arxodakis and Chris Tzevelekakis that matured and took its today’s shape.

Yannis Arxodakis spent 6 years in Cambridge, receiving an Honors Degree in International Business and a Master’s in Computer Science. Fully coalesced with the British lifestyle in an early stage, and with exceptional use of the English language, he became an analyst for the Ministry of Education and Rural Affairs, based in Cambridge.

As the need for sea and sun, was growing stronger he finally came back to his home country, determined to make a career in what he saw was the best product to export, Greek hospitality.

Acquiring a Hospitality Degree (Hotel Management) he started building a career in Tourism as an Operations Manager. He spent most of his time in the Cyclades and the Ionian with most of his experience developed in Mykonos and Santorini. 4*, 5*, SLH, LHW, Boutique hotels and Villas, are properties he contributed the most, with his knowledge and expertise to maximize occupancy and revenue initially from as a Sales & Reservation Manager.

For the past 6 years, he was occupied in Management companies with an extensive portfolio of properties all over the Greek mainland and the islands, through the role of Hotel & Villa Manager.

Chris Tzevelekakis started his Hospitality adventure 7 years ago in Paros, was soon recruited by a Hotel Management Company, and early started to built the correct foundation to continue gaining valuable experience in the sector.

After a couple of years in the Front Office, a new opportunity was about to emerge in the back office, where was automatically attracted to. Successfully worked in one of the most competitive areas in Greece, in Oia Santorini, as a Reservation Executive on behalf of the most well-known Hotel Group on the island and eventually returned to the main offices in Athens, as he was offered the role of an Account Manager.

Under an established Management Company, Chris Tzevelekakis retained a similar role for two more years before taking a step further as an Assistant Reservations Manager that included a full schedule with sales tasks, management of the team, training of new colleagues, and on-site inspections. Identical sales-oriented positions were to follow since, until the collaboration with Yannis Archontakis and the creation of HotelDom.
