Στο νεκροταφείο της Παλιόχωρας σώζονται τα ερείπια του Αγίου Πέτρου, άστεγου σήμερα μονοκάμαρου ναού διαστάσεων 10.10 Χ 3.93μ. κτισμένου με συλλεκτές πέτρες μέτριων διαστάσεων που συνδέονται με ασβεστοκονίαμα. Ο ναός είναι πιθανόν του 10ου αιώνα. Αργότερα προστέθηκε νότια του ναού στενό μεγαλιθικό παρεκκλήσι.
Πάνω σε τοιχογραφία διαβάζεται η χρονολογία ζμ= 1532 ανέγερσης του νέου τοίχου. Νεώτερο είναι το κτιστό τέμπλο. Ανασκαφή έδειξε ότι το κτίσμα ήταν τρίκλιτο με μεγάλη ημικυκλική αψίδα. Η αψίδα του Αγίου Πέτρου είχε δίλοβο παράθυρο. Σώθηκαν υπολείμματα τοιχογραφιών του 10ου και 13ου αιώνα και παλαιοτέρων που είναι δύσκολο να χρονολογηθούν. Οι τοιχογραφίες του 10ου αιώνα πρέπει να ανήκουν στον ίδιο αιώνα με εκείνες του Αγίου Παντελεήμονα Μπουλαριών (991 / 992), αλλά όχι στο τέλος του όπως εκείνες αλλά γύρω στα μέσα του.

In the cemetery of Paliochora are preserved the ruins of St. Peter, a homeless today single-storey church measuring 10.10 x 3.93m. built with collector stones of medium size connected with plaster. The temple is probably of the 10th century. Later a narrow megalithic chapel was added south of the temple.
On the fresco the chimney = 1532 of the new wall is read. The newest is the built iconostasis. Excavation showed that the building was a three-aisled with a large semicircular arch. St. Peter's Arch had a double window. Remains of frescoes of the 10th and 13th centuries and older have been preserved and are difficult to date. The frescoes of the 10th century must have belonged to the same century as those of St. Panteleimon Boulari (991/992), but not at the end of it like those around it.
