Το έτος 1840 εκτίσθη ο πρώτος Ναός από τους κατοίκους του χωριού, οι οποίοι ήλθαν από το χωρίο Ταρσός. Ο Ναός αυτός κατεστράφη από σεισμό και κατεδαφίσθη. Ο νέος Ναός ανεγέρθη το έτος 1960 με δαπάνη εξ' ολοκλήρου από ομογενείς της Αμερικής. Εν συνεχεία η αγιογράφηση του Ναού έγινε με δαπάνη των κατοίκων του χωριού. Η Εκκλησία είναι ρυθμού σταυρωτής βασιλικής μετά τρούλου. Ναός κοιμητηρίου λειτουργεί ο ιερός Ναός Μεταμορφώσεως του Σωτήρος, βυζαντινής εποχής και χρονολογείται από τον ενδέκατο αιώνα. Το 1981 μετά από ζημιές που έπαθε από σεισμό αναστηλώθηκε από την αρχαιολογική υπηρεσία. Η μνήμη των Αγίων θεοστέπτων βασιλέων και Ισαποστόλων Κωνσταντίνου και Ελένης τελείται από κοινού την 21η Μαΐου.

In 1840 the first church was erected by the inhabitants of the village who came from the village of Tarsos. This temple was destroyed by an earthquake and was demolished.
