C	Christos Adamopoulos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η εκκλησία του Αγίου Νικολάου κτίστηκε το 1816 και βρίσκεται στην νότια πλευρά του χωριού σε υψόμετρο 1136 μ. Πετρόκτιστος, με πετροσκέπαστη στέγη, αντιπροσωπευτικό αρχιτεκτονικό δείγμα του 19ου αιώνα. Ο Άγιος Νικόλαος ήταν ο Κοιμητηριακός Ναός του χωριού. Στον περίβολό του βρέθηκαν ίχνη νεκροταφείου. Κατά καιρούς υπήρξαν αρκετές παρεμβάσεις κυρίως συντήρησης του ναού όπως η αντικατάσταση της πετροσκέπαστης σκεπής του με κεραμίδια. Το 2015 ανακαινίστηκε ο Ναός και πλακοστρώθηκε ο περιβάλλον χώρος του με την οικονομική βοήθεια ή προσωπική εργασία της κ. Μαρίας Δημητροπούλου – Καρυτινού, του κ. Παντελή Καπνιά, του κ. Δημήτρη Δημητρόπουλο και του κ. Ζιάγκα. Εξαιρετικό ενδιαφέρον παρουσιάζει το δάπεδο του Ναού που είναι από ντόπια πέτρα και στο κέντρο του υπάρχει ανάγλυφη παράσταση πεντάγωνου αστεριού ή πεντάλφας η οποία διασχίζεται - σπάει από έναν σταυρό εντός κύκλου. Δηλαδή το σύμβολο του κακού διαμελίζεται από τον σταυρό. Ανάμεσα στις κορυφές του αστεριού είναι χαραγμένες δυσανάγνωστες παραστάσεις και γράμματα. The church of Agios Nikolaos was built in 1816 and is located on the south side of the village at an altitude of 1136 m. Stone built, with a stone roof, a representative architectural specimen of the 19th century. Agios Nikolaos was the Cemetery Church of the village. Traces of a cemetery were found in his yard. From time to time there were several interventions, mainly maintenance of the temple, such as the replacement of its stone roof with tiles. In 2015 the Church was renovated and its surrounding area was paved with the financial assistance or personal work of Mrs. Maria Dimitropoulou - Karytinos, Mr. Pantelis Kapnias, Mr. Dimitris Dimitropoulos and Mr. Ziagas. Of particular interest is the floor of the Temple which is made of local stone and in the center there is a relief representation of a pentagonal star or pentacle which is crossed - broken by a cross in a circle. That is, the symbol of evil is dismembered by the cross. Unreadable representations and letters are engraved between the tops of the star.
