Παρουσιάζει πολύ μεγάλες ομοιότητες με τους «συνομήλικούς» του Αϊ-Γιάννη Πρόδρομο στα Λαγκάδια (1808) και Αϊ-Γιώργη στη Στεμνίτσα (1810) καθώς είναι χτισμένος από τους ίδιους Λαγκαδινούς μαστόρους Μαστραντώνης (Ρηγόπουλος), Μαστροστάθης (Θεοδώρου) και Μαστροδημητράκη Στεργίου. και σε παρόμοιες συνθήκες. Η εκκλησία τελείωσε την 1η Μαΐου 1811 όπως αναφέρεται στην εντοιχισμένη πλάκα πάνω από την κεντρική νότια είσοδο του ναού.
The temple is characterized as a monument of particular historical and architectural value and is protected by the Directorate of Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Monuments of the Ministry of Culture. It is very similar to the "peoples" of Ai-Giannis Prodromos in Lagadia (1808) and Ai-Giorgis in Stemnitsa (1810) as it is built by the same masters of Mastrandonis (Rigopoulos), Mastrostathis (Theodorou) and Stergiou Mastrodimitraki. and in similar circumstances. The church ended on May 1, 1811, as it is mentioned on the wall above the central southern entrance of the temple.
