★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Και για την ιστορία: γέφυρα μπέλεϋ στον ποταμό Άραχθο τοποθετήθηκε από τον Στρατό τον Σεπτέμβριο του 1960. Σύμφωνα με δημοσιεύματα και μαρτυρίες, η μπέλεϋ μεταφέρθηκε από την Άρτα -είχε εγκατασταθεί εκεί, δίπλα από το γεφύρι της Άρτας, την περίοδο της Κατοχής.
Η «μετακόμιση» έγινε μετά και το επίμονο αίτημα των Τζουμερκιωτών για σύνδεση με τα Γιάννενα, οι οποίοι μέχρι τότε περνούσαν με τα οχήματά τους μέσα από το ποτάμι, όταν τα νερά λιγόστευαν.

 And for the story: a belay bridge on the river Arachthos was installed by the Army in September 1960. According to reports and testimonies, the belay was transported from Arta - it was installed there, next to the bridge of Arta, during the Occupation.
The "relocation" took place after the persistent request of the people of Tzoumerki for a connection with Ioannina, who until then were passing through the river with their vehicles, when the waters were dwindling.
