Ideal Beach - PEO Kissamou Chanion

We ate Gyros with French fries. The meat was overcooked, and way to salty. The magic show for the children was kind of okay (if we had children)

Very cozy and nice place BUT to difficult the parking although that the have some space!!

The locality right down to the beach and very central in Platanias is a big plus. Nice garden too....

Great hotell, Maria and Tanja in the reception was so kind . Maria reccomended us great place to visit falasarna❤️ Breakfast hade a huge amount of different tasty dishes. The beach is 100m from reception and Lidl is 600 m main road. In front hotel there is lokal bus to Chania or other direction Kissamos and beautiful Falassarna beach. The bus to Falassarna beach cost 6euro in one direction and is worth every Penny ?There is also a nice gym close to the reception if you want a pump. We found the best restaurant just 2km from this hotel called Raeti Taverna (agia Marina) Liljan who is chief in this restaurant is the most kind ❤️ you could also do a day trip to elafonissi beach it is nice as well with pink sand. The best lokal beer you will find just cross over road Drosia family restaurant.

It surprised me, that hotel is officially a four star hotel. I think the hotel earn the stars because they have gym, bar, restaurant,massage, etc. For me, It's maximum three stars, because they forget all the comfortable details everywhere. One good thing, the bed's are soft and comfortable. Be careful when you take a swim, it's quickly deep water at the beach.

Good hotel. May have been better and greater in its time, but its still good. Good room cleaning, very nice staff. Beds and AC okay+. Breakfast ok/standard. Recommend, though a stiff price I think .

I’m not impressed by this hotel because of the false advertising. The apartments you see online are not the same as the ones you get, at least in our case when we rented one room apartment and got it on the ground floor. Sure some apartments might be renovated and I guess those rooms are in the same building as the reception while our apartment were not in the same building, but we choose this room cause of what we saw online, very modern and fresh. I wouldn’t mind if these older apartments were cheaper than the renovated ones but they aren’t. Big disappointment! They should at least have pictures of these older apartments online because it’s two completely different apartments. This is something we haven’t booked at all and we wouldn’t even book this hotel if we knew this was the room we were having since we do like to have it a bit luxurious on our holidays. A lot of ants in our room as well which is a bit disgusting, not some but a lot. We have travelled a lot around the world and usually stay at 4 star hotels and they always have shampoo, soap and some hygienic products which this hotel does not have. The towels were stained and some smelled like smoke. All in all this hotel might be 4 star on paper but does not appear to be one, I’d say 3 star hotel. Only reason why this hotel gets 2 stars and not 1 is because of one older woman from the cleaning staff who was so lovely to us and everybody around the place.

We got bitten by bed bugs in room 216. This week back home has been the worst in my life.
