★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Στην περιοχή της Αργιθέας και των Αγράφων αναπτύχθηκαν πολλά μοναστήρια. Ένα από αυτά είναι και η Αγία Τριάδα Δρακότρυπας. Κτισμένη στις πλαγιές του Τύμπανου, σε υψόμετρο 720 μέτρων , στο χώρο όπου υπήρχαν τα ερείπια παλαιότερου μοναστηριού.
Σύμφωνα με έγγραφα της εποχής, οι χριστιανοί της περιοχής έλαβαν άδεια ανέγερσης από τον Πατριάρχη Παΐσιο το Β΄ για την ανέγερση και αμέσως μετά την κατασκευή του ζήτησαν από τον Πατριάρχη την ένταξή της στο καθεστώς των σταυροπηγίων, κάτι που έγινε το 1743. Ο ναούς ανήκει στον αθωνίτικο τύπο, με τέσσερις κίονες και νάρθηκα στη δυτική πλευρά. Η αγιογράφηση έγινε το 1758 περίπου από τον αγιογράφο Θεόδωρο, ιερέα από την Αγιά. Εντυπωσιακό είναι και το ξυλόγλυπτο επιχρυσωμένο τέμπλο, με χρονολογία κατασκευής το 1744.
Many monasteries were developed in the area of Argithea and Agrafa. One of them is the Holy Trinity of Drakotrypa. Built on the slopes of Tymbanos, at an altitude of 720 meters, in the area where the ruins of an older monastery were located.
According to documents of the time, the Christians of the area received a building permit from Patriarch Paisios II for the construction and immediately after its construction they asked the Patriarch to join the Crusaders' regime, something that happened in 1743. The temples belong to in the Athonite type, with four columns and a narthex on the west side. The hagiography was done in about 1758 by the hagiographer Theodoros, a priest from Agia. The wood-carved gilded iconostasis, with a date of construction in 1744, is also impressive.
