★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η μητρόπολη Λαμίας είναι μια πολύ εντυπωσιακή εκκλησία που βρίσκετε στην πολυσύχναστη πλατεία Ελευθερίας στο κέντρο της πόλης. Προσεγμένη και πολύ όμορφη εξωτερικά φαίνεται από όλους τους παρακείμενους δρόμους και προσθέτει κύρος ενισχύοντας το πνευματικό στοιχείο στην πόλη. Εσωτερικά είναι ευρύχωρη με ξύλινα αναπαυτικά καθίσματα. Είναι πλήρως αγιογραφημένη με πολύ όμορφες αγιογραφίες και ένα εντυπωσιακό ξύλινο τέμπλο. Αξίζει να την επισκεφτείτε!
The Metropolis of Lamia is a very impressive church located in the bustling Freedom Square in the city center. Careful and beautiful exterior is seen from all the adjacent streets and adds prestige enhancing the intellectual element in the city. The interior is spacious with wooden comfortable seats. It is completely frescoed with very beautiful hagiographies and an impressive wooden iconostasis. Worth a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο ναός είναι στην πλατεία Ελευθερίας στο κέντρο της πόλης.
Είναι τρίκλιτη τρουλλαία Βασιλική μέ νεοκλασικά στοιχεία, μέ καλλιμάρμαρο νάρθηκα καί κωδωνοστάσια πού θεμελιώθηκε τό έτος 1861 από τόν Μητροπολίτη Φθιώτιδος Καλλίνικο Καστόρχη.
Τό έτος 1985 μετά τήν καταστροφή πού υπέστη από τούς σεισμούς του 1981 ανακαινίσθηκε καί σήμερα αποτελει τό κόσμημα της πόλεως Λαμίας.
The church is in Eleftherias Square in the city center.
It is a three-aisled dome basilica with neoclassical elements, with a marble narthex and bell towers that was founded in 1861 by the Metropolitan of Fthiotida Kallinikos Kastorchis.
The year 1985 after the destruction suffered by the earthquakes of 1981 was renovated and today is the jewel of the city of Lamia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Την ώρα που είναι ανοιχτός ο ναός κατεβάζουν το τηλέφωνο και όταν τους το αναφέρεις δεν ξέρει κανένας τίποτα. Σου λένε εγώ δεν είμαι υπεύθυνος εδώ και τον έχεις δει να βγαίνει μόλις από το παγκάρι. Κρίμα που όλα σε αυτόν τον ναό είναι παντα τυπικά και για το θεαθήναι.
