★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Στις 24/5/1944, έγινε τόπος μαρτυρίας του φασισμού,από τους κατοίκους των Ταξιαρχών(Κακολύρι) και των γύρω χωριών,καθώς 30 άντρες εκτελέσθηκαν από τους Ναζί σε αντίποινα για τον θάνατο Γερμανού στρατιώτη στην γέφυρα της Σκοτεινής από Έλληνες αντάρτες.
 On 24/5/1944, it became a place of martyrdom for fascism, by the inhabitants of Taxiarches (Kakolyri) and the surrounding villages, as 30 men were executed by the Nazis in retaliation for the death of a German soldier on the Skotini bridge by Greek guerrillas.
