★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ὁ Ἱερός Ναός Ἁγίου Δημητρίου Ἄνω Βροντοῦς ἀνεγέρθηκε στό ὁμώνυμο ὀρεινόχωριό τό ἔτος 1835 σύμφωνα μέ τήν μαρμάρινη ἐπιγραφή, στήν ὁποία ἀναγράφονται καί τά ὀνόματα τῶν δωρητῶν (Ἰωάννης, Ἀθανάσιος, Βασίλειος) καί ἐγκαινιάσθηκε τό ἔτος 1835.
Εἶναι τρίκλιτη βασιλική χωρίς τροῦλο. Τό ὡραῖο ξυλόγλυπτο τέμπλο πού κοσμεῖ τό Ναό συντηρήθηκε ἐξ ὁλοκλήρου, μερίμνῃ τοῦ Σεβ. Μητροπολίτου μας κ. Θεολόγου, τοῦ ἱερέως τοῦ Ἐκκλ. Συμβουλίου καί τοῦ Προέδρου τῆς κοινότητος, τό ἔτος 2008.
The Holy Temple of Agios Dimitrios Ano Vrontos was erected in the homonymous mountain village in the year 1835 according to the marble inscription, in which the names of the donors are also inscribed (Ioannis, Vassinos and Athanasios).
It is a three-aisled basilica without a dome. The beautiful wooden iconostasis that adorns the Temple was preserved in its entirety, by the Rev. Our Metropolitan Mr. Theologos, His Holiness ῦκκλ. Council and the President of the community, in the year 2008.
