★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο Όσιος Φιλόθεος ο εκ Σκλαταίνης (Ρίζωμα) έζησε μεταξύ των ετών 1475 μ.Χ. με 1550 μ.Χ. και διετέλεσε ηγούμενος της Ιεράς Μονής Αγίου Στεφάνου Μετεώρων κατά το έτος 1545 μ.Χ.
Ο όσιος Φιλόθεος λίγο πριν το 1545 μ.Χ. ανακαίνισε ή μάλλον ξαναέκτισε το παλαιό μικρό και κομψό καθολικό της Μονής,
το ναό του Αγίου Στεφάνου με την βοήθεια του ιερομόναχου Γεράσιμου.
Ο Ναός εγκαινιάστηκε το Νοέμβριο του 2004.
 Saint Philotheos from Sklatainis (Rhizome) lived between the years 1475 AD. with 1550 AD and was abbot of the Holy Monastery of Agios Stefanos of Meteora in the year 1545 AD.
Saint Philotheos shortly before 1545 AD. renovated or rather rebuilt the old small and elegant katholikon of the Monastery,
the church of Agios Stefanos with the help of the monk Gerasimos.
The Temple was inaugurated in November 2004.
