★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο Ιερός Ναός του Αγίου Γεωργίου είναι κτισμένος σε περίοπτη θέση στην πλατεία Λαυρεντίδη του δημοτικού διαμερίσματος Λευκώνα. Η ανέγερση του ξεκίνησε στην αρχή της δεύτερης δεκαετίας του περασμένου αιώνα από τους πρόσφυγες που είχαν εγκατασταθεί και οι οποίοι στη συνέχεια έχτισαν και το δημοτικό σχολείο. Ο ναός έλαβε την οριστική του μορφή τό 1938. Πρόκειται για τρίκλιτη βασιλική με τρούλο. Το εσωτερικό του Ναού είναι διακοσμημένο με αγιογραφίες πού έγιναν μετά το 2000.
The Church of Agios Georgios is built in a prominent position in Lavrentidis Square in the municipal district of Lefkonas. Its construction began at the beginning of the second decade of the last century by the refugees who had settled and who later built the primary school. The church took its final shape in 1938. It is a three-aisled basilica with a dome. The interior of the Temple is decorated with hagiographies made after 2000.
