★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Είναι ένας διπλός ναός, χτίστηκε δηλαδή ο καινούριος ναός ακριβώς δίπλα στον παλιό, ο οποίος είναι μικρότερος και σίγουρα δεν μπορούσε να εξυπηρετήσει τις θρησκευτικές ανάγκεςτων κατοίκων του Αμυγδαλεώνα που ο αριθμός τους συνέχεια μεγαλώνει.Και οι δυο ναοί είναι πλήρως λειτουργικοί. Ο παλιός ναός μάλιστα ανακαινίστηκε. Στον Ιερό Ναό βρίσκεται μια εικόνα την οποία έφεραν οι πρόσφυγες όταν ήρθαν από τη Γαράσαρη του Πόντου.
