m	mpampis antoniadis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο ναός βρίσκεται στο ΒΔ τμήμα της πόλης, στην άλλοτε περιφερειακή συνοικία «Α-γιάς μαχαλά» (αγιάς = εξοχικός), η οποία έφτανε μέχρι το τσιφλίκι των Ματαραγγιωτάδων («Τσιφλικάκι»). Ο αρχικός ναός κτίστηκε το 1896 και ανακαινίστηκε το 1937, όπως και εκείνος της Αγίας Παρασκευής, ακολουθώντας την ισόρροπη πληθυσμιακή αύξηση των αντίστοιχων ενοριών. Η αγιογράφηση του τέμπλου, στις παραμονές του δευτέρου παγκοσμίου πο- λέμου, ανατέθηκε επίσης από τον μητροπολίτη Ιεζεκιήλ στον διακεκριμένο ζωγράφο και προσωπικό του φίλο, Ν. Δόντα. Ο σημερινός ναός, στον τύπο του σταυροειδούς εγγεγραμμένου με τρούλο, θεμελιώθηκε το 1970 δίπλα στο παλιό κτίσμα, το οποίο κατεδαφίστηκε στη δεκαετία του ’90. Αρκετές από τις παλιές φορητές εικόνες σώζονται και κοσμούν προσκυνητάρια στο νάρθηκα και στον κυρίως ναό, ενώ άλλες φυλάσσονται στο γυναικωνίτη. The temple is located in the northwest part of the city, in the former district of "Aghia mahala" (Ayia tis mahala), which reached up to the land of Matarangioton ("Tsifliki"). The original temple was built in 1896 and renovated in 1937, as was the one of Agia Paraskevi, following the balanced population growth of the respective parishes. The icon painting on the eve of the Second World War was also commissioned by Metropolitan Ezekiel to the distinguished painter and his personal friend, N. Donta. The current temple, in the type of cruciform engraved with a dome, was founded in 1970 next to the old building, which was demolished in the 1990s. Several of the old portable icons are preserved and adorned in the narthex and in the main temple, while others are kept in the women's house.

Σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, περιβάλλεται στο πίσω μέρος του και από ένα ωραίο παρκάκι που έχει και παιδική χαρά, αλλά και αυτά απαιτούν καθαριότητα και συντήρηση. Πολύ κρίμα που η νεολαία που συγκεντρώνετε εκεί δε συνεισφέρει στην καθαριότητα του χώρου. Με τη δική τους βοήθεια θα μπορούσε το μέρος να είναι πεντακάθαρο όπως και του αξίζει... Μην ξεχάσετε να φάτε την σπεσιαλιτέ της το αντίδωρο το παραδοσιακό το ελληνικό. Μόνο αρνητικό η πολύ κάπνα από το λιβάνι, κάναμε κεφάλι, αλλά για κάποιους μετράει κι αυτό στα θετικά.
