★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο Ναός του Αγίου Στεφάνου, είναι Τρίκλιτη βασιλική του 1896 στη θέση παλαιότερου ομώνυμου ναού, ο οποίος αποτεφρώθηκε.
Από την πυρκαγιά σώθηκαν μόνο κάποιες εικόνες του 13ου αιώνα. Στον ναό σώζονται σημαντικά κειμήλια. Είχε κτιστεί αρχικά τον 14ο αιώνα από τον Ελληνο - Σέρβο ηγεμόνα Συμεών Ούρεση Παλαιολόγο.
Σ’ αυτόν γίνονταν από το 1488 έως το 1739 τα «μηνύματα» και οι χειροτονίες των επισκόπων που υπάγονταν στον μητροπολίτη Λαρίσης, ο οποίος στο διάστημα αυτό είχε έδρα του τα Τρίκαλα.
Ο ναός κάηκε το 1882 και ξανακτίστηκε.
The Church of Agios Stefanos is a three-aisled basilica of 1896 on the site of an older church of the same name, which was cremated.
Only some 13th century icons survived the fire. Important relics are preserved in the temple. It was originally built in the 14th century by the Greek-Serbian ruler Symeon Ureis Palaiologos.
From 1488 to 1739, the "messages" and ordinations of the bishops who belonged to the metropolitan of Larissa, who at that time had his seat in Trikala, took place there.
The church burned down in 1882 and was rebuilt.
