★ ★ ★ ★ ★ H Αγία Μεγαλομάρτυς Κυριακή (Ιταλικά: Santa Domenica, Βουλγαρικά: Света Неделя) γεννήθηκε στη Νικομήδεια, μοναδικό παιδί του Δωρόθεου και της Ευσεβίας. Οι γονείς της ήταν Έλληνες, ευσεβείς χριστιανοί, πλούσιοι, αλλά χωρίς απογόνους. Σύμφωνα με τη διήγηση του βίου της από την Εκκλησία, προσευχόμενοι αδιαλείπτως, απέκτησαν ένα παιδί εκ Θεού. Εφόσον γεννήθηκε ημέρα Κυριακή (την ημέρα του Κυρίου), της δόθηκε το όνομα Κυριακή.
 Saint Martyrs Sunday (Italian: Santa Domenica, Bulgarian: Света Неделя) was born in Nicomedia, the only child of Dorotheus and Eusebius. Her parents were Greek, pious Christians, wealthy, but without offspring. According to her life story from the Church, through repeated prayers, she had a child from God. Since she was born on Sunday (the day of the Lord), she was given the name Sunday.
