★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο ευμεγέθης, περίλαμπρος και περικαλλής Ιερός Ναός της κώμης της Κλένιας εβρίσκεται κτισμένος επί υψιπέδου εις περίοπτον θέσιν καλουμένην «Αλώνια». Ή ώριξις των Θεμελίων ήρχισε κατά το έτος 1964 τη ευλογεία του μακαριστού μητροπολίτου κυρού Προκοπίου, εφημερεύοντος του πρεσβυτέρου π. Καλλαρά Παναγιώτου. Η πρώτη θεία λειτουργία ετελέσθη την 15ην Αυγούστου 1969 κατά την εορτήν του ναού.
