Man kann sogar vor der Kirche halten es sind einige wenige Parkplätze verfügbar. Das Innere ist sehr schön ausgeschmückt und auch die Außenanlage ist interessant und angenehm gestaltet. Εκεί να πας να εκκλησιαστείς της Παναγιάς μας!" ήταν η συμβουλή και η παρότρυνση ενός ντόπιου παππούλη. Πράγματι λοιπόν στις 15 Αυγούστου πρωί-πρωί πήρα το δρόμο για την εκκλησιά της ΚΟΙΜΗΣΕΩΣ ΤΗΣ ΘΕΟΤΟΚΟΥ στο χωριό Ραχώνη. Στα τέσσερα χιλιόμετρα απο τον κεντρικό ξεπρόβαλε το χωριό κρυμμένο μέσα στα πεύκα και τις ελιές και σε πολύ μικρή απόσταση απο την είσοδο του αντίκρυσα την εκκλησιά της Κοίμησης της Θεοτόκου μας, ολόλευκη και περιτριγυρισμένη απο πλατάνια! Στον περίβολό της είχαν στηθεί και σιγόβραζαν στη φωτιά των ξύλων πέντε μεγάλα καζάνια για το εορτάσιμο γεύμα (κουρμπάνι). Σε λίγο εμφανίστηκε και ο Παπά-Φώτης που είναι ο εφημέριος του Ναού. Φιλικός, απλός, ανθρώπινος κι αληθινός με καλοδέχτηκε και άνοιξε το Ναό για να ξεκινήσει σιγά-σιγά η Θεία Λειτουργία. Προσκύνησα με ευλάβεια τη Χάρη Της και προσευχήθηκα κατά την διάρκεια της Θείας Λειτουργίας με κατάνυξη. Βοήθεια μας! Καλή Παναγιά να έχουμε φίλες & φίλοι μου! Και του χρόνου με Υγεία! Ας είναι καλά ο παππούλης που βρέθηκε στο διάβα μου και μου έδωσε τη φώτιση να την επισκεφτώ!
