★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Σε ένα πάρα πολύ ωραίο και γραφικό ακρωτήριο και το μόνο σημείο του νησιού που έχει βλάστηση (πεύκα)στα ανατολικά του νησιού βρίσκεται η μόνη της Παναγίας της Κανάλας στην οποία φυλάσσετε η ομώνυμη εικόνα της Παναγίας,η οποία βρέθηκε στο στενό(κανάλι) Κύθνου-Σερίφου από ντόπιους ψαράδες η εικόνα χρονολογείται από το 1575 και είναι έργο του Εμμανουήλ Σκορδίλη,η εκκλησία είναι σε πάρα πολύ κατάσταση και ο περιβάλλων χώρος ακόμα και τα κελιά που φιλοξενούν τους επισκέπτες,κάθε 15 Αυγούστου γίνετε μεγάλο πανηγύρι και αναπαράσταση της εύρεσης της εικόνας με συμμετοχή του πολεμικού Ναυτικού.
In a very beautiful and picturesque cape and the only part of the island that has vegetation (pine trees) in the east of the island is the only Panagia of Kanala where you keep the homonymous icon of the Virgin, which was found in the narrow (canal) of Kythnos- Serifos by local fishermen the icon dates from 1575 and is the work of Emmanuel Skordilis, the church is in very good condition and the surrounding area and even the cells that host visitors, every August 15 become a big festival and representation of finding the image with participation of the Navy.
