★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kościół Prawosławny Źródła Życia ( Zoodochos Pigi ) jest wyciśnięty w skałę.Obok kościoła znajduje się jaskinia w której jest źródełko.W starożytności źródełko w jaskini było głównym źródłem wody pitnej dla Ancient Thera jak i dla całej wyspy Santorini.Polecam miejsce.Dostać można się piechotą z Kamari lub samochodem serpentnami do starego miasta. Zejść następnie piechotą do kościółka.
 The Orthodox Church of the Source of Life (Zoodochos Pigi) is squeezed into the rock. Next to the church there is a cave in which there is a spring. In ancient times the cave spring was the main source of drinking water for Ancient Thera and for the whole island of Santorini. I recommend the place. You can get there on foot from Kamari or serpentine car to the old town. Then walk down to the church.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich empfehle den Parkplatz oben in der Spitzkehre zunehemen der Weg ist deutlich angenehmer wie der Wanderweg von Kamari hoch :)
Der Ausblick und die Kirche mit Hof sind sehr schön :)
Die Höhle ist allerdings unbeleuchtet gewesen und war deswegen etwas unheimlich und man konnte nur etwas mit Taschenlampe/Handylicht sehen :(
I recommend the parking lot at the top of the hairpin, the way is much more pleasant than the hiking trail from Kamari up :)
The view and the church with courtyard are very nice :)
However, the cave was not illuminated and was therefore a bit scary and you could only see something with a flashlight / mobile phone light :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uroczy kościół na stoku góry u wejścia do jaskini. W październiku tuż po świcie promienie słońca wpadają prosto do jaskini. Polecam miejsce do oglądania wschodów słońca nad Kamari.
Lovely church on the slope of the mountain at the entrance to the cave. In October, just after dawn, the sun's rays fall straight into the cave. I recommend a place to watch the sun rise over Kamari.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leider ist der Weg von Kamari aus an 1-2 Stellen stark beschädigt. Der Aufstieg lohnt sich trotzdem immer wieder. Im ersten Teilstück recht anstrengend wird es nach oben besser. Wir machen den Aufstieg jedes Mal gerne wieder. Dieses Mal hatten wir aufgrund der vielen Waldbrände einen „bedeckten“ Himmel.
Unfortunately, the path from Kamari is badly damaged in 1-2 places. Nevertheless, the climb is always worthwhile. In the first section, which is quite exhausting, it gets better upwards. We like to do the climb again every time. This time we had an "overcast" sky due to the many forest fires.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A tiny little church. What a lovely resting spot on our hike to the Thera mountain. You can stop and sit in the shadow, take a look at the church and light a candle if you will. Views are also spectacular. Also recommendations for the hike from Kamari to Thera and then down to Perissa!
