Точно на 65 стъпала под църквата, на нивото на морето извира " свещена вода ". Тук гордо стои и статуята на гръцката героиня на Лимнос „ Марула “, която се е сражавала героично през 15 век срещу турците. В залива Пуния е плажът и рибарското пристанище на Коцинас, което през Средновековието е било важно търговско пристанище. Да не забравяме, че Лемнос е важно място в Егейско море, на входа на пролива Боспор. Името Коцинос (Коцинас) произлиза от името Кокинос, което означава "червено" Червената земя всъщност е много доминираща в този регион. Между Репаниди и Коцинос се намирала „лимонната земя“, място, където се добивал специален вид червена глина, която се използвала за лекуване, а също и за направа на теракотни предмети. С тази глина хората покривали лицата и тялата си, за да лекуват всякакви неразположения. Латинците имали различно име за това - Тера Сигилата. Терминът „terra sigillata“ се отнасял за лечебната глина, която за първи път е открита на остров Лемнос. Kotsinas / - Here, on the low hill lie the ruins of a medieval fortress. Zoodochou Pigis Church is located within the walls of the fortress. Exactly 65 feet below the church, sea level rises "holy water". Here stands proudly the statue of the Greek heroine of Limnos "Marula", who fought heroically in the 15th century against the Turks. In Punic Bay is the beach and fishing port of Kocinas, which during the Middle Ages was an important commercial port. Let us not forget that Lemnos is an important place in the Aegean Sea, at the entrance to the Bosporus Strait. The name Kocinos (Kocinas) is derived from the name Kokinos, which means "red." Red land is actually very dominant in this region. Between the Repanidis and Cocinos was the "lemon land", a place where a special type of red clay was used for healing, as well as for making terracotta objects. With this clay, people covered their faces and bodies, to cure any ailments. The Latin had a different name for it - Terra Sigilata. The term 'terra sigillata' refers to the healing clay first discovered on Lemnos Island.

Η εκκλησία της Ζωοδόχου Πηγής είναι στην κορυφή του μικρού λόφου με εξαιρετική θέα στην τριγύρω περιοχή. Φιλοξενεί και το άγαλμα της τοπικής ηρωίδας "Μαρούλας". Παρά την εξαιρετική φυσική ομορφιά, δυστυχώς το μέρος δείχνει εγκαταλελειμμένο και ασυντήρητο. Αξίζει πάντως την μικρή παράκαμψη από τον κεντρικό δρόμο και την επίσκεψη. Beautiful small seaside settlement with picturesque harbor. The church of Zoodochos Pigi is at the top of the small hill with a great view of the surrounding area. It hosts the statue of the local heroine "Maroulas". Despite the exceptional natural beauty, unfortunately the place shows abandoned and unconscious. However, it is worth the small detour from the main road and the visit.

In combat, they did a really good job, only the recoil could be a bit less. In fact Juergen sells good quality for good prices. I'm just a little disappointed because the US-Plattentragegurt (Tropen) was sold out! 5/5! Would buy again!

h	horiace on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Church itself is ordinary, built in the 1950s on top of an older church. What makes it special is the underground spring with Holly water. The tunnel has good artificial light, however the experience of going down 40 meters might be overwhelming for some people.
