At the edge of a 5 kms sandy beach, the setting is beautiful and the wind is there every day, (18-20 knots these last days). Panos and the crew are very competent and helpful, there is water to wash the gear and a nice shadow under an old tree. Quite an experience!

Panos was well organised, fun, knowledgable and professional. He made sure we had mastered each skill before moving on, and kept it interesting while we learned. His communication was 100%. I see some 1 star reviews on here because people wanted to hire kites, and they couldn't. If this isn't a service iKiTe offers, why give a bad review?

I stopped by the iKite location and met Panos who scheduled me to begin training the very next day. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgable. After grasping the basics of directing and moving the kite I was able to enter the water after just a few lessons. I'm so glad I took the time to try a new activity and Panos was a great instructor, I would highly recommend anyone who wants to learn how to kite surf to visit Panos to begin their training.

Myself and one of my friends booked in for 12 hours of lessons. Panos took us through each step carefully to ensure we were fully understanding and competent before moving on. This is a great place for people who are serious about trying to get into kiteboarding. By the end of the 12 hours we were both up to IKO level 3K and had great fun and sense of achievement. Thank you Panos and Evie for helping us during our time in Crete. All the best.
C	Cenk Turkinan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem. It was recommended to us by our hotel (Amirandes) and what a great recommendation. It was off-peak season and most Kitesurf rental schools were closed or simply didn't bother replying to you. Panos was very helpful, friendly and professional. Equipment was in excellent condition and it was very comforting to Kitesurf under his watch even though we were almost all alone on a stretch of kilometres of beach. He gave a helpful explanation on the waves, where they break, any underwater hazards (of which there was none), the reef to be watchful of. I have also seen him teaching to a beginner with radio controlled equipment. He was very attentive. I had a great experience late April enjoying 15-25 knots at Iraklio (just behind the stadium) blasting on flat water between the beach and the reef where the waves break creating a great flat water kitesurfing zone. PayPal accepted which is very handy. Thank you Panos for giving me all I needed for a few hours on the water during Easter.

His main interest is in teaching kite surfing instead of making the most profit - the lessons only take place if the weather conditions are well. He offers within the lessons free water that you can enjoy under a nice tree with shadow. Moreover the entire beach is very clean and there is almost all the time someone to help start your kite. The prices for the lessons are totally fair for its value!!! Thanks a lot for these nice days!
